Flint Hill Resources is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Project Manager to work with our Corpus Christi, TX facility.
The Integrity Project Manager oversees pipeline Integrity projects to include: in-line inspection, pipeline anomaly evaluation/repair, and integrity construction/maintenance activities.  The Project Manager leads and manages the project team to safely complete the project and ensure all functional design, quality, and compliance requirements are met or exceeded, the project schedule is maintained and completed on time and within the corporate approved budget for the project.
This person will manage 15-25 projects annually in the range of $100,000-$7M using industry best practices in setting business objectives, developing scope and scope control, developing project teams, project controls, front-end loading to accomplish company objectives and deliver competitive projects.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Lead and direct projects and coordinate key functions with internal and external technical resources to meet all project requirements for safety, compliance, budget, schedule, functionality and quality; meeting or exceeding company and industry standards and expectations
  • Work alongside the Integrity Management Team and Asset Owners by preparing project scopes, cost estimates, and execution plans for new and expansion projects and repair
  • Develop and implement definitive project plans which include risk assessed cost estimates, contracting strategies, fabrication and construction, quality assurance, pre-commissioning and commissioning, and project closure to complete projects safely, on time, on budget and with satisfactory quality and functionality
  • Additional responsibilities include project reporting and cost tracking/forecasting in conjunction with project controls and reporting to senior management 
  • Managing cost and material to prevent cost overrun and optimize

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of pipeline integrity experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time in various phases of planning & construction
  • Experience identifying root issues and opportunities
  • Willing and able to travel 10% - 50% of the time 


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently works in hot, cold, or inclement climate conditions
  • Frequently climbs ladders and stairs to reach equipment
  • Position requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)


This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing rule or “TWIC” and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 10+ years of experience in the pipeline industry
  • Experience with pipeline and pump station integrity, design, construction, maintenance and repair
  • Proficiency with DOT 195 and 192 regulations; knowledgeable and able to follow regulations accordingly
  • Experience with pump design, piping design, hydraulic modeling and pipeline integrity testing (hydro testing, ILI tools, direct assessments, etc.)
