Title:
Process Engineer – Refinery Production Engineer
 
Location:
Corpus Christi, TX
 
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
 
 The Production Engineer is a key member of the site process engineering team.  The people in this role perform the following functions:
  • Establishes operating envelope and own its management of change (MOC) process
  • Owns unit health and optimization monitoring including development of monitoring tools
  • Develops and drives ways to create more value with current equipment
  • Develops economic analysis for growth opportunities and projects
  • Provides risk analysis calculations for unit’s PHA
  • Supports compliance reporting with engineering calculations
  • Develops turnaround detailed process plans and reviews chemical cleaning packages for unit equipment
  • Inspects process equipment and internals
  • Provides process engineering input to MOC safety design reviews 
What You Will Need:
 
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Refining or Chemical Plant Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET (or similar) accredited program
  • Driver's License 
What Will Put You Ahead?
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of hydroprocessing, SRU, FCCU, Crude, or Reformer (CCR) experience
  • Previous hydrocracker or crude unit experience
  • Process modeling with Aspen HYSYS
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team
