Georgia-Pacific Corrugated – Displays & Packaging Group is seeking a qualified National Accounts Sales Manager located in the Northeastern U.S. to manage key strategic Consumer Brands accounts, as well as prospect new accounts and develop new business. This position can be home-based and the territory includes southern CT, southwest NY, NJ and northeast PA.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Create value as measured by revenue growth, account acquisition, and demonstrating insight and innovation in delivering client-centric merchandising solutions.  
  • Identify and execute sales strategies
  • Successfully sell a value-added portfolio of products and capabilities employing a consultative problem-solving approach
  • Manage assigned prospects to determine business needs, develop decisionmaker relationships and generate new business growth within accounts.
  • Work independently against a variety of objectives using time management skills to meet and exceed internal/external customer expectations. 
  • View problems, issues and needs from a customer’s perspective; incorporating creative problem-solving techniques to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain consistently updated customer activities and opportunities in CRM platform
  • Strong communications capabilities, including oral, written, presentation, and active listening
  • Strong time management and project coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing marketplace.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience in sales or sales management role
  • Successful sales experience in POP Merchandising/Display/Graphic Packaging
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able and willing to travel regionally at least 50%
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Knowledge and experience with a leading CRM system
