We are currently seeking a Gypsum Sales Analyst to join our Gypsum team in Atlanta, GA. This position will interact directly with Gypsum sales associates and customers supporting creation & maintenance of rebate agreements and payment plans. This position will also be responsible for rebate reporting and analysis at the direction of sales management.  
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
  • Assist regional sales managers in creation of sales rebate agreements & initialization of rebate authorizations for approval

  • Creation & maintenance of customer profiles & rebate plans per approved rebate agreements

  • Analysis of progress toward rebate volume tiers by customer and plan

  • Approval for processing of monthly/quarterly/annual rebate payments

  • Reporting of rebate payments and explanation of rebate calculations

  • Reconciliation of rebate system accruals with general ledger balances

  • Tracking of rebate processing and reporting of scorecard metrics

    What You Will Need:

    Basic Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales Management
    • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence) 
    • Demonstrates a customer focused, results driven work ethic & commitment to success
    • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively manage concurrent priorities with follow up and timely resolution
    • Ability to accurately present data in a clear and concise format
    What Will Put You Ahead?

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 1-2 Years customer service, accounting, or analytical experience in a business to business environment
    • Application of analytical & critical thinking skills in developing solutions to incentivize market behaviors consistent with the Gypsum business vision
    • Ability to write basic SQL queries including use of selects and joins
    • Use of ODBC connections & executions of SQL queries within Excel worksheets
