Koch Agronomic Services is currently seeking a National Sales Manager - Northern Plains to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the sales and develop the staff within the northern tier region (MN, ND, SD, NE, MT, WY and the PNW) of the U.S. Driving growth, building strategy, and developing strong relationships with the team, retailers, dealers, distributors and head offices of key customers and targets is the primary function.
The role will be homebased and located in the eastern part of the territory that is being supported.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Lead Northern Plains team in developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives
  • Educate and train the customer on our products 
  • Identify key targets and develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Lead customer evaluation/Segmentation development and practice
  • Communicate customer and field point of view to broader KAS
  • MBM® modeling and development
  • Profit and Loss owner and accountability for region

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of field based agriculture sales/marketing
  • 3+ Years of field based management/supervision
  • Passionate, driven, self-starter with high activity level
  • Experience in crop, fertilizer, or chem, Ag business
  • Demonstratable skillset to include humility, collaboration, communication, and teamwork
  • Demonstratable strong economic thinking and decision-making capability
  • Proven ability to lead a team into business growth; set and achieve goals
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships that translate into long term business success
  • Strong computer skills, including high level of experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of field based value-added agriculture sales/marketing
  • 5+ Years of field based value-added agriculture sales/marketing management/supervision
