Koch-Glitsch LP located in Wichita, KS is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.  This full-time position will maintain and troubleshoot various machinery in the manufacturing plant. Candidates must demonstrate technical experience, reliability, and the ability to work independently.

Shifts available:
First Shift- Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm
Second Shift- Monday through Friday 3pm-11:30pm
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
  • Maintaining production equipment to optimize runability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines
  • Utilize mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process-manufacturing environment to maximize machine uptime
  • Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1+ years experience reading and interpreting manuals/schematics to understand equipment and controls
  • 3+ years experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and operating industrial equipment
  • 3+ years experience adjusting and calibrating equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using computer for PC based operational systems, PLC systems, architecture installation, and diagnosis
  • Experience with HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance and current HVAC license
  • Technical degree or apprenticeship certification with maintenance experience in the metalworking industry or similar manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements/Other Considerations:
  • Ability to bend, squat, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand and work in a non-climate-controlled environment for up to an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and pre-hire physical
