Koch Industries, Inc. is looking for an PSM Audit Manager in Wichita, KS who will support various Koch companies through auditing, consulting and special project initiatives.  Koch Industries, Inc. is one of the largest private companies in the world. Koch Companies Services, LLC is a services business that supports the global affiliates of Koch Industries, Inc.   

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee the auditing of various projects across the organization. This role will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and execute a variety of projects.  This person will be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  In addition to executing projects, this role will lead and direct the work of others.




A Day In The Life Typically Includes:  

  • Work with Koch Business leaders to assist with annual planning processes including risk rankings, audit plan development and communication
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of actual costs
  • Serve as liaison with key business units and coordinate audits
  • Scope new audit programs, preparing protocols, creating reports and metrics and managing audit findings to closure as well as coordinating audits
  • Facilitate corrective action plans and share knowledge across businesses impacted.
  • Liaison to Koch companies EHS audit team


A Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Attributes:

  • Team player – willingness to work with experienced audit professionals, seasoned EHS leaders, Operations teams, and skilled subject matter experts and consultants at many of our global operations
  • Project Manager - Strong managerial and organizational experience with the ability to lead and multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Regulatory Expert - Broad regulatory knowledge across various EHS programs applicable to manufacturing, chemical, petroleum industries
  • Process Safety Emphasis - Special emphasis auditing US based process safety and risk management programs including PSM and RMP.  Similar experience internationally helpful (SEVESO, ATEC, etc).
  • Excellent Communicator - Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to deliver concise objective findings in respectful manner
  • Positive Interpersonal Skills - Ability to quickly build relationships and engage team members in professional manner to accomplish audit objectives


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:


  • 8+ years’ experience working in or with manufacturing, petrochemical, refining, OR chemical manufacturing facilities that includes EHS responsibilities
  • 3 years of EHS audit experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or comparable work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • This role does not qualify for VISA sponsorship

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental, H&S, Industrial Hygiene or related field of study
  • Technical Certification such as CPEA, CPSA, PE, CSP, CIA
  • Auditor Skills Training (IIA, etc.)
