Are you a self-starter who's ready to jump start your career in HR? Koch Industries is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our recruiting activities! This is an exciting chance to be part of a team who is transforming and innovating, so we need someone able to contribute new ideas and have an eye for continuous improvement! Ideal candidates will enjoy a fast-paced environment and be adept at handling a high-volume workload with multiple time sensitive responsibilities. In this role you will partner directly with recruiters and hiring managers across several Koch companies serving as the recruiting process subject matter expert. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a knack for great customer service and communication, ensuring that both our hiring managers and applicants/candidates have a great experience throughout our hiring process.

Preference for the role to sit in Atlanta, Wichita, or Kansas City

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Managing applicant tracking data and activity in Taleo (i.e. entering job postings, moving candidates through steps in selection process)
  • Assisting Recruiters by scheduling on-site interviews
  • Preparing interview packets, coordinate and arrange travel for candidates 
  • Preparing offer letters and managing pre-hire testing (i.e. background checks and drug screening, etc.) 
  • Ownership of the new hire onboarding process (SAP input, conducting new hire orientation, ongoing point of contact for new hires)
  • Processing expense reports for candidate’s reimbursement 
  • Handling of confidential and sensitive information regularly
  • Coordinating and assisting with college recruiting activities
  • Participate in projects as part of the Koch Talent Acquisition Team
  • Building a strong connection with candidates to create a positive and smooth interview experience

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years administrative or project coordination experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 or more years of Human Resources or Marketing/Sales experience
  • Experience with SAP or other master employee data tool
  • Experience with event planning
  • Experience and knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components, including: ATS , assessment, candidate relationship management, compensation, background checks, drug screening
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in a related field – Computer Science, Business Administration, HR, etc.)
