A Day In The Life May Include:

  • Detailer will serve in a support role to the Designer staff preparing drawings from mark-ups or go-bys per instructions. 
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with project engineering, manufacturing and other drafting personnel producing a total teamwork environment. 
  • Create an efficient and accurate drawing package that is delivered on time to manufacturing and our customers. 
  • Develop a high level of proficiency in all applicable products in an effort to maximize productivity. 
  • Strive to develop knowledge and abilities necessary to advance into the next drafting classification

What You Will Need (Requirements):

  • Completed an Associate’s degree in Engineering Design & Drafting or 2 years technical training in Computer Aided Design (CAD) & Drafting on or before December 2020
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • 0-2 years’ mechanical drafting/design experience
  • 0-2 years’ experience Inventor or equivalent parametric modeling CAD software 
  • This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferences)?

  • 1-2 years’ mechanical design/drafting experience in equipment 
  • 1-2 years’ experience Inventor or equivalent parametric modeling software 
  • 1-2 years’ experience Autodesk Vault Professional 
  • Experience in fabrication environment whether as a Detailer, Designer, or Fabrication role such as welder, fitter, mechanical assembler. 
  • Advanced training or experience in Inventor (surfacing, routed systems, frame generator, iLogic) 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
