A Day In The Life Typically Includes: 

  • Responsible for product management activities related to Industrial Processes markets.

  • Define R&D priorities based on market feedback. Initiate and drive R&D projects to improve product performance, lower cost, or develop new products.

  • Responsible for commercial launch of new products. This includes coordinating field testing of new products, providing field testing feedback to the development team, launch presentation for key customers etc.

  • Drive internal improvement projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

  • Customer Visits with Sales: Travel approximately 20% of the time meeting new customers and giving product presentations. Attend conferences, write and present papers and chair/lead key strategic committee meetings. Industry perceives individual as an expert with respect to product and technology.

  • Market Pricing and Competitive Intelligence: Create database to analyze trends and provide competitive intelligence recommendation to understand strengths and weaknesses of KMS products.

  • Marketing/Sales Support for all products related to Industrial Processes markets.

  • Prepare and maintain Product Differentiator and Value Proposition presentations

  • Review global market size and growth, market drivers, regional dynamics, VOC etc.

  • Maintain Reference Database.  Visit existing installations to get customer feedback on performance of KMS products. Communicate any issues or concerns to appropriate stakeholders. Contribute to margin enhancement by supporting value engineering, pricing, procurement, quality, and manufacturing initiatives.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or higher

  • At least five (5) years of experience in a product management or application engineering

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the presentation of technical information in a clear and concise manner written and orally.
  • Proven adept at quickly understanding business and market needs, gathering knowledge and expectations, to offer creative solutions.

  • Understanding of media relations and public relations.

  • Worked for a company in the liquid separation area and know at least one technology dealing with liquid separation (Membrane filtration, filter presses and cartridge filters, ion exchange, centrifuges and clarifiers, separators, decanters, evaporators, and crystallizers.)
