Systems Proposal Engineer

 



A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

Systems Proposal Engineer will be responsible for navigating the quotation process and for preparing the actual proposal document for membrane systems. As such, the Systems Proposal Engineer needs to be detail-oriented and creative, with strong communication and project management skills, strong Microsoft Office skills (primarily MS Word), and strong interpersonal skills. Must have technical knowledge to understand customer RFQs and inputs from process and systems engineering, as necessary to generate a quality document for issue to customer.

Responsibilities:

Generate technical and financial proposals for standard and custom engineered membrane separation systems
Regularly communicate with sale managers, project managers, and process engineers in order to monitor proposal schedule, and obtain technical and commercial inputs
Maintain proper sales records in SalesForce.com and SharePoint
Assist with the implementation of new proposal development tools to improve efficiency of the proposal process
Support other proposal team members and project managers on proposal project tasks
Support regional sales managers and sales directors
Fully comply with all KMS compliance guidelines and departmental procedures


What You Will Need:


BS degree in engineering

Do you have experience with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS SharePoint, in order to create proposal documents, sort data, draft correspondence, etc?

Are you able to work late, on occasion, in order to meet quote deadlines?

Are you able to work on multiple tasks in any given day, moving from one task to the next as priorities shift?

Are you proficient in English, with good writing skills and attention to details?

Are you good working under time constraints and meeting deadlines?
