We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in Tulsa, OK.  

The role has several diverse responsibilities, but all are structured to give experience and training vital for career advancement.  By successfully meeting these challenging duties, the Accountant will provide value to the business. The Accountant is expected to seek out opportunities to create value by recording and reporting financial information along with streamlining processes, enhancing internal financial controls, leveraging technology and resources to increase quality of financial information.  The successful candidate will have a high level of assertiveness, and a consistent, sustainable work ethic.  This is an exciting accounting opportunity that includes the potential for growth as a financial analyst.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

    • Journal entries, accruals and preparation of various accounting schedules
    • Ensure transactions are recorded properly, research and resolve exceptions
    • Complete periodic financial reports as needed 
    • Create and maintain global business and regional level reports
    • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting business partners with data discrepancies/questions
    • Deliver accurate and timely services for Tax, Audit, International Trade Compliance, Governmental, and ad-hoc requests at the corporate and division level 
    • Pursue, test and approve system modifications to enhance the system while reducing cost and/or increasing accuracy 
    • Provide system support, set up and training 
    • Drive innovation – Support the finance team by automating processes and tasks, while leveraging different technology

    What You Will Need:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
    • 2+ years of experience in an Accountant role
    • Strong understanding or experience with GAAP and overall accounting functions (GL, AR, AP, Inventory, etc.)
    • Basic understanding of intercompany transactions, and month end closing
    • Aptitude and desire for learning new systems and improving processes through automation
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – spreadsheet creation/editing, lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation etc.)

    What Will Put You Ahead?

    • Accounting Coursework that includes Intermediate Accounting and Cost Accounting
    • Experience as an Accountant or Analyst in a manufacturing environment 
    • Previous experience with automation or process improvements
    • Exposure to or experience with analytics
