KBX Logistics, LLC in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Accounts Receivable Intern who will assist the Accounts Receivable team in reporting and analyzing cost and service along with accounts receivable functions to create long term value within the supply chain.  This position requires a motivated professional with the proven abilities to analyze, multi-task, and problem solve.  

 


A Day In The Life COULD Include:

  • Reporting/analysis:
    • Benchmark analysis to improve our relative performance.
    • Explore and use best-in-class logistics processes to improve cost position.
    • Seek innovation in reporting and analysis tools to better assist the logistics group and the businesses with the information needed.  Drive improvements in systems and technology related to the data warehouse/bi and implement, where possible, self-serve reporting capability.
    • Review reports to maintain data integrity and compliance to standard reporting.    
    • Generate metrics, reports, & KPIs that drive the expected service levels to our internal and external customers.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Generate, audit, and invoice customers.
    • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
    • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
    • Generate ageing analysis
    • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
    • Generate reporting around total supply chain cost
    • Provide cost components to the Accounts Payable group for the creation of intercompany memos
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and the ability to influence others.

Other internship activities include:
  • Exposure to various departments within KBX Logistics, LLC
  • Internal and external networking events
  • Exposure to KBXL leadership
  • Internship final presentation
  • Collaboration with intern class of about 20 

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar degree area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel to include creating spreadsheets and using formulas
  • Experience using strong math and analytical skills
  • Willing and able to work full-time for a 12-week period during the summer of 2019

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience – Access, Excel (pivots, graphs, vlookups), PowerPoint
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • 1 year experience with A/R and Cost to Serve
  • 1 year of experience in financial analysis

  • This position has the opportunity to work part-time during the school year in Green Bay, WI in addition to working full-time during the summer
  • This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
