Resource Description: Georgia-Pacific Consumer Business aims to further strengthen the Media & Marketing Technology team based in Atlanta, GA through the addition of top talent that will advance our brands’ efforts in the Digital Marketing space.

 

The Consumer Products Business within Georgia-Pacific focuses on building iconic American brands with consumers and retail customers. Our brands include Dixie®, Vanity Fair®, Brawny®, Sparkle®, Angel Soft® and Quilted Northern®.

 

We are seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to oversee our Retail Media Digital operations efforts. Media is an essential part of our integrated marketing approach and our Brand Acceleration capability, which reports into the Chief Marketing Officer. 


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


Responsibilities: The Ad Operations Specialist will be primarily responsible for trafficking and implementing Programmatic and Retail Media activity. This role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, implementation, and management of digital media campaigns, including project timelines, gathering of assets, traffic instructions and creation of ad serving tags.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Work with media, retail, creative and analytics teams at the onset of a campaign to help identify and implement all creative and technical requirements
  • Ensure key deadlines are met as it relates to campaign launches including pre-launch setup, reporting structure and timelines, and post campaign analysis
  • Help resolve technical issues involved in running online ad campaigns
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance to ensure campaigns are meeting expectations and KPIs
  • Engage with media vendors and media teams to resolve reporting and/or billing discrepancies
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Third Party Ad Servers (DoubleClick DCM preferred) as well as experience managing tags from DMP, verification partners, and key retail media partners (Amazon DSP, Walmart Media Group, Kroger Precision Marketing, Target Media Network)
  • Collaborating with other internal stakeholders from Brand Acceleration (Media, Email, CDDM, Social, Shopper Marketing, ICX, etc.) to take advantage of synergies between opportunities


What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3 years industry experience
  • Hands-on experience within ad servers including DCM
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting ad tags
  • Proficient in MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with technology and computers (e.g. Html coding)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPG and/or Retail account experience
  • Strong comprehension of the programmatic media and paid social landscape
  • Experience working within Retail Media (Amazon DSP, Walmart Group, etc.) platforms
