Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi, LLC is looking for Administrative Assistant to support the team at our terminals in Austin and Taylor TX. The administrative assistant is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative work while exercising considerable initiative, independent judgment and prioritization to the Pipelines & Terminals group.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • General administrative office duties to include answering phone calls, filing, organizing, and providing other administrative responsibilities as requested.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel.
  • Serves as a liaison for support services/capabilities throughout the organization.
  • Processing/tracking invoices, supporting documentation and purchase orders for accuracy and receiving in system.
  • May assist with special projects including planning, implementation, research and analysis.
  • Assist with generating purchase requisitions, vendor set up, vender correspondence for price quotes and deliveries, and research discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage vehicle fleet to include inspections/insurance/scheduled maintenance.
  • Ability to provide professional level of internal/external customer service.
  • Proctor Operator Qualification tests required for DOT.
  • Identifying innovative potentialities and bringing them to fruition in order to best benefit the overall goals of the company.

  • Have an aptitude to continually learn new software or applications

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio 
  • A valid driver's license 

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Experience with Power BI, Flow or Power Apps 
  • Experience using SharePoint
