The Koch Chemical Technology (KCTG) group is seeking a Business Compliance Leader that will primarily support our Koch Heat Transfer (KHT) business in Houston, TX as well as have interaction and collaboration with the Global Compliance Team at KCTG.

The Business Compliance Leader is responsible for risk assessments, business process mapping and connecting business leadership and employees to risks and controls. As well, this position will have the opportunity to leverage their knowledge of International Trade Compliance and project management skills.

The successful candidate will be a highly self motivated, results oriented, and demonstrate integrity, customer focus, and the ability to promote and embrace change. If you are detailed oriented, can effectively multi-task, have superior communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment, this may be the role for you!


A Day In The Life Typically Includes: 

  • Driving, promoting and enhancing the compliance culture within the businesses and developing strong partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitating execution and implementation of compliance program management, as well as assisting with program self-assessments across the global Koch Chemical Technology Organization.  
  • Ensuring annual compliance strategies are linked to the corporate vision and assessing program effectiveness
  • Coordinating audit planning process, implementing corrective actions, maintaining oversight of training program
  • Assurance of the consistent application and execution of our "Know Your Customer" process.  
  • Providing hands-on support, guidance and direction for our Trade Compliance Program.
  • Facilitating live/virtual training 


What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, law or other compliance related discipline 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with International Trade regulations including, but not limited to: US and international customs regulations, US Exports, US and International trade sanctions, country or origin declarations, deemed exports, export licensing and free trade agreements
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the areas of Anti-corruption, Anti-bribery (ex: FCPA, UK Bribery Act), and Anti-Trust
  • A minimum of 3 years experience creating process maps and business procedures that have successfully integrated in to business processes
  • Experience managing projects and the ability to work with all levels of a global organizations
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Risk Management, Supply Chain or related field
  • Knowledge of US Customs Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Government Agency Import/Export regulations and NAFTA agreements
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
