The Commercial Strategy & Analytics Analyst - Tissue will work with the Retail Consumer Tissue category teams and Commercial Strategy & Analytics Sr. Manager to develop data-driven insights that inform comprehensive go-to-market strategies focused on accelerating price realization, helping achieve various brand objectives, and creating long-term value. This person will also be responsible for creating and maintaining various reporting packages used throughout the organization. The role will report to the Commercial Strategy & Analytics Sr. Manager for Tissue. 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
  • Building and sharing knowledge around key category and competitive trends and implications on product, portfolio, and pricing
  • Combining knowledge of system constraints, competitor positions, and key drivers of profitability to proactively identify potential pricing by design opportunities to category teams
  • Collecting data and using analysis to develop alternatives on product and portfolio design and mix in order to achieve short- and long-term brand or retailer goals
  • Evaluating potential product or portfolio changes through the pricing by design lenses: Consumer, Retailer, Supply Chain, Operations
  • Utilizing tools, frameworks, and analyses (predictive and descriptive) to understand price landscape and develop specific price recommendations across pack-sizes and channels
  • Working with cross-functional teams in Category, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
  • Maintaining and improving upon Consumer Tissue pricing reports, and helping to distill key insights from market trends that will be presented to senior GP leadership
 

What Will You Need?
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 year of work experience in a role that requires data analysis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field (e.g. Math, Science, Engineering, Economics)
  • Advanced skills in Tableau, Microsoft PowerPoint, Alteryx
  • Experience in a CPG/Retail environment
