John Zink is looking for a contract coordinator who would be a part of John Zink aftermarket team and be the liaison between the aftermarket group, JZ legal team, and the customer. 

The primary responsibilities would be negotiation of contractual terms with customers and all miscellaneous tasks related to getting contracts in place, including insurance matters, customer questionnaires, EHS certifications, work licenses, and any other task related to our aftermarket contracts. This role also includes proactively looking at existing contracts about to expire and maintain a master database of active contracts.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Reviewing contractual documents
  • Negotiating with customers
  • Reviewing contractual terms with attorneys or the business management
  • Meeting customer-required procedural hurdles
  • Conducting aftermarket business, sales efforts to reach agreements that expand our customer base

What You Will Need:

• 2-year Associates Degree in Paralegal studies or similar experience

• Knowledge of legal terminology and law related to corporate contracts

• 3+ years' experience in commercial contracts

• Experience with contracts negotiations and review, especially on negotiating terms and conditions, working through insurance issues, negotiating letters of credit or guarantees, working through indemnity and warranty issues.

• Experience in maintaining physical and digital records of archive contracts and recent contracts

• Ability to analyze potential risks involved in contracts terms and work with Legal team and customer to resolve and complete final contract

• Customer service expertise to serve as the liaison between Customers legal/ Contracts team and intercompany commercial and legal team members

What Will Put You Ahead?

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration

• 2+ years' experience as lead (managing workflow of others) on negotiations and contracts

• 5+ years' experience working on negotiations and contracts

• CCCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) or CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) certification
