We are looking for DevOps Analyst to join our technology team, to help advance our cloud-based AWS applications and data consolidation platform. Continuous automation and improvement are key requirements for this program and should appeal to someone who thrives in ownership and continuous improvement. We’re looking for an analyst who enjoys being part of a growing, collaborative team, directly influencing the product and development standards, and drives action in a fast paced, Agile environment. The candidate should be proactive, team-oriented, possess good interpersonal communication skills, and have a motivating passion for the discovery, investigation, and utilization of new, cutting-edge technologies. Candidate needs to be highly motivated and willing to put forth extra effort to get the job done.  

*Open to candidates in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Houston, or Wichita.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Develop and maintain tools and scripts to automate deployment tasks
  • Develop monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Maintain development, test, UAT and production environments
  • Manage and optimize AWS environments
  • Develop and implement DevOps best practices for build, test and infrastructure 
  • Monitor infrastructure and take proactive measures to meet set up-time goals

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, CIS, or related field of study
  • 2+ years’ experience with Python or other scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, etc.
  • 2+ years’ experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools such as GIT, Maven, etc.
  • Experience in building and maintaining Container software such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure 
  • Experience in no-sql database technologies such as MongoDB, S3 
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems 

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with IT Operations Analytics (ITOA) and IT Operation Management (ITOM) tools, such as Splunk, Sumologic, etc. 
  • Working knowledge of AMQP, such as RabbitMQ
  • Working knowledge of enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies, such as MuleSoft
  • Working knowledge of SQL database programming tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, with emphasis on C# and SQL database technologies
  • Working knowledge of client/server concepts 
  • Working knowledge of ETL (SSIS / Informatica) development and administration 
  • Working knowledge of .Net or comparable application development frameworks
  • Working knowledge of project management
