John Zink Hamworthy Combustion is seeking a Field Construction Manager. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Global Director of Operations. This role will be the steward of the global turnkey operations strategy as we move forward in an ever evolving market. You will leverage your knowledge to create valued solutions to improve a globally focused turnkey operation.
 
Responsibilities include multiple site construction management for the organization. Managing a portfolio of small capital project ranging from $110K to $10M. Oversees field design and construction scheduling to ensure organizational needs are met. Interacts with the contractor or construction team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field’s turnkey concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in an industrial or petrochemical construction turnkey environment.
- Three (3) or more years of team leadership/supervisory experience
- Experienced managing small capital projects up to $10M
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a degree in Engineering, Civil or Mechanical
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% globally
- Facilitate construction licensing nationwide and globally by applying for applicable licenses and taking  construction tests on behalf of the company.
- Proven ability to drive change within an organization
- Ability to build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders groups within an organization
- Strong sense of urgency with a proven history of meeting stringent deadlines
- Effective facilitation of multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
 
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
Ten (10) years of experience in an industrial or petrochemical construction turnkey environment.
Six (6) or more years of team leadership/supervisory experience
 
Physical Demands/Unusual Working Conditions:
Travel is Global and 75% at minimum. Must be able to perform tasks in office and field.
