  • We are hiring a Financial Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Analyst supports the North American Consumer Products and GP enterprise manufacturing leadership team with insightful financial analysis that will ensure that the GP enterprise manufacturing has the correct cost reporting structure to complete thorough and accurate cost analysis.
    The Analyst position creates value for the company by collaborating with Operations Leadership to improve the effectiveness of our operations.  As a Financial Analyst, you will have an opportunity to gain a valuable understanding of the various elements of the NACP manufacturing process and gain the experience necessary for continued career growth within GP and the Koch companies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an understanding of financial and manufacturing cost analysis as well as data mining capability and presentation skills with finance tools such as Excel, Access and Tableau.

    A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


    Obtain a solid working knowledge of the primary drivers of operations and their impact on financial performance. Learn about NACP manufacturing including:


         o Exposure to manufacturing processes
         o Exposure to operations concepts
         o Learning key manufacturing analytical tools
         o Networking with operations teams
    • Drive transformation by respectfully challenging historical practices and leveraging technology enablers and automation
    • Support process improvements for financial systems and operations reporting
    • Provide business support for operations systems/tools for division and TTN facilities
    • Develop training materials and content for analytical enabling tools  
    • Data / Data Visualization - via Tableau, Alteryx, Hadoop, etc.
    • Improve data confidence 
    • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting
    • Support consolidated/consistent reporting; minimize waste by leveraging data and tools
    • Improve efficiency in getting information to business and capability teams
    • Build visualization that supports the required knowledge for business decisions
    • Identifying key business trends through benchmarking, KPI tracking and analysis 


    What You Will Need:


    Education and Basic Qualifications:


    • Completed a Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
    • Able to work in the US without sponsorship
    • Basic knowledge of economic principles and marginal analysis
    • Basic understanding of database structure
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: MS Excel (creating charts, formatting cells, working with macros & pivot tables etc.), PowerPoint (change slide layout, applying new presentation design and inserting images etc.)


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Previous experience in a Financial or Cost Analysis role in a manufacturing environment

    • Experience creating Excel macros, SQL/VBA, Tableau, Alteryx, RPA or other data visualization/technology enabler tools experience

    • Data Mining skills or experience

    • Experience using Hadoop or SQL Server
    • Experience with marginal and incremental cost/profit analysis techniques

    • KPI Tracking and Analysis, Benchmarking, Reporting

    • Course work that included Intermediate Accounting and Cost Accounting
