This role can sit remotely but would highly prefer candidates in Wichita, KS, Atlanta, GA, Green Bay, WI, Kansas City, MO, Dallas, TX, or Reno, NV. 

The Network Operations Manager is the primary person in charge of overseeing Global Network Operations developing strategy, vision, and prioritization of operational initiatives for continuous improvement and service support. 


The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical knowledge, but equally focused on customer service, automation, continuous improvement, and an innovative mindset that will lead to operational efficiencies and an optimized global support model. The right candidate will have a track-record of leading complex initiatives, the ability to navigate both strategic and tactical challenges, a strong business acumen, and the capacity to lead several key initiatives in parallel working with large extended and cross functional teams. 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of network operations team
  • Organizational structure to optimally support offered services
  • Operational process development, documentation, enforcement, and adherence (SOP development)
  • Training plans, skill assessment, and knowledge gap analysis
  • Ensures teams understanding of current services, products, and responsibilities to support
    • Hold Engineering Team accountable for solution and resolving of systemic problems 
    • Hold Delivery Team accountable for Operational hand off's of project work and defined standards 
  • Partner with the business and other areas of IT in order to meet internal and external customer requirements
    • Acceptance of new services and products that are being operationalized 
    • Identification and development of Operations leadership team

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Leadership or Management role within Network Operations 
  • Proven experience within the Wireless or LAN Switching & Routing protocols 
  • Strong knowledge with Cisco iOS and familiarity with Cisco Product Line
  • Firm understanding of: 
    • Network Operations fundamentals
    • Operational readiness 
    • Network Lifecycle
    • Support models
    • Organizational structures
    • Industry best practices
    • Customer support

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience with SDWAN 
  • Experience supporting a Global Business
  • Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) 
  • Experience building and developing Agile/DevOps teams 
  • Experience with best of breed infrastructure solutions, including proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS cloud services
