A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Performing lubrication Preventative Maintenance (PM)
  • Maintaining proper storage and inventory of all lubricants, including upkeep of storage location
  • Assisting maintenance and production personnel in the determination of effective grease, oil, and hydraulic fluid application methods (including automated delivery) that are least intrusive and most effective for all machinery on the plant site
  • Participating in PM development and scheduled parts replacement based upon visual inspection of equipment while performing lubrication task
  • Assisting with troubleshooting lubrication related failures
  • Assisting in root cause analysis of premature failures of bearings, cylinders, pumps, and valves
  • Writing work requests/orders as necessary
  • Applying “best environmental practices” to all storage, transportation and disposal of all oils and lubricants, containers, and residue
  • Informing plant environmental coordinator of any issues pertaining to major spills, leaks, or loss of oils and lubrication materials

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • At least one (1) year of industrial mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing/production environment

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate/Technical degree or higher in an industrial, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, engineering, or other maintenance field
  • Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS), Certified Oil Monitoring Analyst (OMA), or Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) certification
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Indus, Maximo)
