Role Title: Organization Change Management Leader
 
Role Description

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Change Management Leader for a large-scale ERP implementation.  This project seeks to enable business operating models to support a more digital enabled organization.  Through redesigning business processes to reflect best practices and to implementing Infor M3, a customer experience suite, and various Infor edge applications as the core platform for the Packaging & Cellulose businesses, we believe we can provide more value to our customers and transform the way we do business.  The Organization Change Management Lead will serve as a key member of the project leadership team, reporting to the Program Director.  The Change Management Leader will work closely with business leaders to ensure understanding of new processes and actively support them and their team’s use and adoption of the new systems and processes


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and lead organizational change management strategies and plans in support of GP’s transformation initiatives
  • Drive profitable change through end-user adoption of common business practices and processes
  • Identify leadership and user alignment gaps, potential risks/issues
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and socialize with business stakeholders
  • Support leaders by offering guidance on transitions to new processes and change initiatives, organization design, etc.
  • Design and develop communication plans/deliverables; ensuring messaging and execution are consistent with organization’s vision and principles
  • Identify key stakeholders needed to align on problem and vision
  • Help ensure program vision, value drivers, and desired outcomes are known with the business leaders and / or conduct workshops to gather input and gain alignment
  • Provide input to program team to develop future business operating model and transition plan
  • Facilitate workshops, conversations and/or focus groups to define change metrics and measurement plan

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 10 years of experience leading change management, organization effectiveness and leadership development capabilities within large organizations (or as a consultant to)
  • Participation/leadership roles in large transformation ($75-150 million) programs
  • Influencing senior leaders and leading through others across large organizations
  • Developing innovative solutions to overcome adversity and/or abstract issues
  • Organization change management tools such as developing program approach, impact analysis, communications, etc.
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues to build skills in change management
  • Familiarity with change methodologies and general philosophies regarding change and influencing human behavior
  • Must be willing and able to travel minimum 25%

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of leading change and OCM efforts on very large ERP and/or system implementations in manufacturing industry
  • Project and program management experience on large-scale programs
  • Experience leading initiatives across organizational and geographic boundaries
  • 5+ years of experience formally coaching leaders and teams on leading and embracing change
  • Experience in manufacturing industry (e.g. Fortune 100) and/or consulting (e.g. Big 5) environments
