KBX Logistics is looking for a Part-Time - Transportation Planning Specialist  in Green Bay, WI. This role creates value by optimizing cost and services to create long term value within the supply chain. This role is part-time, weekend work with the expectation that the successful candidate work 16 hours per week.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Plan transportation between plants and primary distributions centers
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with Georgia-Pacific teammates, internal and external customers, and carriers
  • Utilize available tools to manage cost, service, and capacity through optimization processes 
  • Analyze data to identify trends and determine solutions for improved service and/or cost
  • Resolve unplanned events with carrier claims and accessorial charges
  • Understand and facilitate compliance with all state and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Increase efficiency through creativity, experimentation and ideation

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word to write business correspondence, and Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and simple formulas
  • Able to work 16 hours per week, with most of those hours being on Saturday and/or Sunday

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in a professional work environment
