THE OPPORTUNITY: Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (“KAES”) is seeking a Plant Accountant/Analyst to join our CFO Team. This position will require a driven individual that is passionate about this opportunity to drive value creation.

  • Experience working with diverse groups such as accounting, operations and IT to create analysis/forecast by leveraging new solutions
  • Strong attention to detail while working with extensive amounts of data
A Day in The Life Typically Includes: 
  • Manage the accounting process and provide financial analysis through:

    • Coordination and leading of the monthly closing process in accordance with the established closing schedule

    • Leading accurate recording, costing, and reconciliation of product inventory

    • Leading the monthly forecasting process (expenditures, production, operating efficiency, etc.)

    • Owning mass balance of finished good production, sales, throughput losses / yields, etc.

    • Leading plant cost center expenditure analysis and stewardship

    • Developing robust scorecarding the financial reporting of plant production and costs

  • Partner with Accounting/Finance/Business teams to support various business strategies

  • Initiate and collaborate to implement process improvements using sustainable technology solutions

  • Apply appropriate internal controls in a changing business transformational environment

  • Use data to extract and convey meaning, while understanding business goals and constraints to solve a variety of problems       


What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting experience or business analysis experience

  • Experience assessing, developing and communicating key performance indicators/benchmarks

  • Advanced Excel skills (complex functions/graphing) and proficiency in other Microsoft products such as Outlook, Power Point, Word and Teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time


What Will Put You Ahead:

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools for data visualization and data mining/blending such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI or other software

  • Experience with Oracle, SAP or similar ERP system

  • Corporate Accounting or Financial Reporting experience
  • Experience with OneStream or other multi-dimensional reporting tool

  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
