A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


Georgia-Pacific is looking for an IT Programmer Analyst on its Data Historian team in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Work with a highly leveraged team of system experts that provide project resources and troubleshooting support for plant floor process data collection systems.  Duties include:

 

  • Install PI Data Historian data collection software  
  • Configure data communications with manufacturing equipment leveraging industry standards like OPC communications
  • Support PI Data Historian for multiple manufacturing sites
  • Conduct user training
  • Maintain technical and training documentation
  • Implement solutions that improved the reliability and completeness of our automated data collection  
  • Develop user interface screens for data trending and manufacturing process graphics
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to improve decision making via improved usage of information and analytical models
  • Implement processes to move data between systems including AWS Cloud Data Lake

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in application/software support or PI system administration
  • Ability to create and maintain clearly written technical, user, and system documentation
  • Knowledge with Windows operating system and Microsoft O365 business applications

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering
  • Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes
  • Experience with OSI PI platform or other time-series data historian
  • Understanding of the Purdue model, IT/OT network segmentation, and PLC/DCS communication
  • Experience in UI/UX graphical design
  • Project management and/or business analyst experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, Visual Studio, and TFS
  • Experience with Web Development Tools - Angular, Web API, .NET languages
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services environment
