The Gypsum Division of Georgia Pacific is seeking a Regional Commercial Dens® Manager.  The Regional Commercial Dens® Manager will be responsible for leading a technical sales team in growing and defending market share for industry leading commercial glass mat products, as well as launching innovative new solutions to age-old problems within commercial construction and design. The role will have direct reports that operate in the building envelope space. This position is key in the overall division strategy and collaborates with Product Management /Marketing, Technical, S&OP and other Sales Leaders within GP Gypsum. This position has high growth potential within the Gypsum Division and the broader Georgia-Pacific organization.
  • Position will be responsible for the regional leadership of the teams that promote GP Dens® products such as DensDeck® Roof Boards and DensElement® Barrier System.
  • Reports to Director of Commercial Dens® Sales.
  • Position based in either Atlanta, GA or Diboll, TX, with approximately 60% travel.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and defend market share.
  • Manage strategic territory planning. Support, coach and challenge direct reports.  
  • Foster an environment that leverages economic and critical thinking to create long term value for our customers and the company.
  • Utilize salesforce.com® as a business collaboration and communication tool.
  • Serve as a technical product resource for commercial value-added products.
  • Provide sales forecasts, identify key trends, and profitably navigate competitive landscapes and market conditions.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, with an aptitude for technology

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous management experience with a technical sales focus
  • Experience with architectural sales and the construction process
  • Experience with Dens® wall or similar products
  • Experience with the building enclosure or exterior construction
  • Experience using Salesforce.com® as a collaboration tool
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, building construction, architecture or the sciences
