We are looking for a home-based Georgia-Pacific (GP) Corrugated Sales Representative to support our northeast region corrugated facilities.  This sales representative will have a territory that consists of customers within 250 miles of the Mount Wolf, PA and/or Bradford, PA facilities.  The GP Corrugated Packaging Sales Representative will support business objectives by acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Identify and execute sales strategies.
  • Create value as measured by profitable revenue growth and account acquisition.
  • Identify customer specific solutions and drive implementation through existing sales channels.
  • Successfully sell a value-added portfolio of products employing a consultative, problem-solving approach.
  • Manage assigned prospects to determine business needs. Develop decision-maker relationships and generate new business opportunities within accounts.
  • Work independently against a variety of objectives using time management skills to meet and exceed internal/external customer expectations.
  • Collaboratively lead cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes without direct authority.
  • Use strong communications skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and capabilities.
  • View problems, issues and needs from a customer’s perspective; incorporating
  • creative problem-solving techniques to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Consistently update and maintain customer activity reports using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Leverage analytical capabilities to examine sales reporting data to make recommendations.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast-changing marketplace.

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a business to business sales role
  • Able and willing to travel locally up to 50%.  Some overnight travel may be necessary.
  • Computer experience with technology using programs, such as Microsoft Office: Word (business correspondence), Excel (spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) Outlook (internal/external communications and scheduling), and PowerPoint (customer presentations).
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:

Corrugated and/or packaging experience

Previous experience managing clients/accounts and prospecting for new customers

Experience in graphics, printing, and/or POP display

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Customer Relationship Tool/CRM)

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
