We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Contracts to join our group, in Atlanta, GA at our beautiful Downtown HQ and LEED® Gold certified building. This position will be responsible for a variety of duties for the North American Consumer Products Division business. The successful candidate must be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines, and possess a strong desire to bring insights and actionable creative ideas.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
The ideal candidate must possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes, capital appropriation and associated service requirements.  The individual is expected to be part of a project team and work closely with procurement, accounting, operations, engineering, and reliability capabilities.  Candidates with cross-functional experience across these disciplines are ideal.

Approximately 25% travel will be required



  • The individual will work closely with other departments and within our systems to acquire and review contract and capital project documentation for terms and conditions, scopes of work and vendor communications in order to make timely decision on vendor payments.

  • They would also have to effectively communicate identified risks and gaps noted in contract documentation and invoice support to process/project owners in a timely manner in order to make or decline above mentioned payments.

  • Participate in development and implementation of training on best practices in contracts for the business.

  • Analyze, synthesize and effectively communicate gaps, best practices and key learnings to stakeholders and structure results to present to leadership.

  • Foster and leverage relationships with internal customers and external stakeholders.

  • Help our team continuously improve the process through innovation.

  • Support the businesses through consulting or special project activities.

  • Develop Market Based Management understanding and application.

 What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or Quantitative field
  • At least THREE years of experience in an Accounting, Analysis, Engineering, Operations or Audit role
  • In depth experience working with one of the following areas: process improvement projects, project management, sourcing, supply chain / vendor audits and/or contract compliance reviews
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word – document creation, formatting and editing etc. and Excel – spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formulas creation etc.) 
  • Must be able to travel 25% (including overnight travel)


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of the procure-to-pay lifecycle and scope of work creation

  • Demonstrated project management skills while exhibiting a sense of urgency

  • Strong strategic, creative, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Financial systems skills - ability to quickly learn and work with multiple financial systems

  • Team player, comfortable working on multiple teams/projects simultaneously and independently, as needed

  • Proactive / self-driven work habits

What Will Put You Ahead?



  • Understanding of capital procurement activities including contract negotiations, contract development, creating and managing e-sourcing events, and issuing purchase orders
  • Understanding of the legal, technical, and commercial aspects of a contract
  • Understanding of an effective bid process and experience in evaluating gaps related to such. 
  • Experience in the oversight of contractors performing services in a mill or plant environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and / or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) certification or Certified Construction Auditor (CCA)
  • Lean Six Sigma or other project management certification (PMP) 
  • Experience working with data analytics (e.g., using ACL, IDEA, excel, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Contract Compliance, Commercial Contracting or Construction Audit experience
  • Experience in negotiating and facilitating full contracting processes
  • Use of eProcurement/eSourcing tools
  • Experience with Asset Suite, SAP and MP2, or other applicable systems
