Our Building Products Information Technology Group is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join our new integration team in Atlanta.  You will help define and grow a new integration capability utilizing MuleSoft as its primary tool.  You will provide hands on design, development and support for integration between divisional, corporate, and third-party systems.  You will mentor/lead a small-medium team of onshore and offshore team members. 

 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for remote/international IT teams
  • Lead integration related collaborations across IT and business teams
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss requirements, support, status updates, etc. to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledge
  • Use technical aptitude to come up to speed on new tools and concepts required for integration development and support
  • Adopt best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes
  • Participate as integration resource on small to large projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Solve critical support issues related to integration tools and processes

A Senior Integration Engineer should have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Hands on experience working with users and architects to capture requirements, develop and test interfaces.
  • Experience with enterprise Data Integration technologies including ETL, SQL, XSLT, XML, ANSI X12 EDI, OAGIS, and JSON
  • Working knowledge of web services including REST, SOAP, and API management.
  • Experience with distributed Source Control Management tools
  • Familiarity with firewall and port restrictions
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Must be detailed-oriented.

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years IT experience and  integration development experience with enterprise level tool
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10%

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with MuleSoft
  • Hands on experience with pub/sub ESB implementations

  • Experience integrating custom and package products across complex enterprise environments

  • Working understanding of security standards including SAML, XACML, MASSL, OATH, WSTrust, OAUTH, OpenID Connect.

  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL database technologies

  • Experience with AWS (S3, RDS)

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and CI/CD

  • Hands on development experience with Infor ION

  • Experience with creating MUnit tests
