We are looking for a Sr. Manager/Director – Sales Commercialization to join the Sales Force Effectiveness Team.  The Sr. Manager/Director will be responsible for developing go to market strategies for a robust foodservice innovation pipeline with a focus on equipment and training and building foodservice equipment capability throughout the sales organization.  This is a highly strategic/highly visible role.


Sales Performance Management, Tracking, & Customer Success: 

  • Responsible for the growth bets and sales performance management of our Food Service innovation (with category and sales leaders) 
  • Responsible for target account identification, pilots, and testing --- working with our selling organization but serving as the Innovation subject matter expert, jointly owning sales opportunities with our sales team
  • Solicit platform feedback from proof of concept, pilot, and customer sites
  • Develop and execute regular readouts to help customers ‘operationalize’ data & prove out value prop
  • Track innovation and insight selling progress through campaigns and pipeline opportunities through salesforce 

Commercialization Strategy – Sales/Customer Lens:

  • Provide the Sales / Customer POV on the go-to-market & commercialization strategy for new foodservice items, working closely with Category, Innovation, Sales Strategy, and Food Service Sales Teams. Go-to-market includes: overall strategy (pricing, channel, segment, etc.), selling story and sell-in deck, sales tool development, sales model, etc. 

Sales Training & Enablement:

  • Develop sales training plan and content with our SFE training developers 
  • Lead trainer / facilitator for key sellers and the broader selling organization (if/when necessary) – 1) system’s core feature, benefits, value prop 2) identifying and preliminarily qualifying leads 3) working with Food Service Solution Sales Capability 
  • Oversee sales tech support (pre and post) 
  • Oversee the development & execution of end user training / on-boarding

Capabilities / Knowledge Needed:

  • Food Service B-to-B Sales Experience 
  • Technical / Food Service Equipment Selling Experience (ideal)
  • Thought Leadership
  • White Space Capability Building 
  • Cross Functional Collaboration (Ability to connect dots and problem solve outside of their functional area) 
  • Commercialization Experience (ideal)

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 years of sales/business development experience
  • Experience working in the foodservice segment

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Commercialization experience
  • Technical / Equipment Selling Experience
