Technical Sales Representative
 
This position is a sales level position that supports the service requirements of the Wood Adhesive - Eastern Region clients. The role is home based in the Southeastern U.S. and reports to Eastern Region Sales & Technical Service Manager for Wood Adhesives.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Ensures growth of existing accounts by supporting in plant sales/service activities.
  • Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services.
  • Uses technical knowledge of product offerings and customer processes to support and build sales.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-5 years of industrial sales or wood industry experience  
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Willing to travel up to 70% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience in a Technical/Quality Role
