Georgia Pacific Gypsum is looking for an Inside Sales Representative based in our Atlanta, GA office.  For the right candidate, this role may also be home based within ~150 miles of Diboll, TX or Atlanta, GA.  The Inside Sales Representative will sell ToughRock and Dens products to an assigned customer base, identifying opportunities to position Georgia-Pacific Gypsum as the “preferred supplier” and delivering a best in class customer experience.  The role has significant exposure to a wide cross section of GP Gypsum capabilities, and will interact extensively with outside sales, transportation, manufacturing, and scheduling.  Alumni from the Inside Sales organization can be found in a variety of roles across the company


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Manage the customer accounts for pre-defined sales territory from a customer service perspective.
  • Prospect new accounts and generate profitable incremental business.
  • Processing customer orders into the sales system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries for product information, availability, order status, pricing, and invoice reconciliation
  • Investigate and issue all invoice debits/credits in a timely manner.
  • Monitor daily targets for your respective territory and make necessary outbound calls to achieve set volume targets.
  • Solicit and match half load orders, while being cognizant of delivered costs.
  • Track inventory levels at your respective facility to ensure stock is adequate to meet demand Interact both professionally and courteously to all inside and outside customers at all times.
  • Satisfying customer requirements with personalized attention, without compromising the Team or Company objectives
  • To continually look for ways to improve current levels of Customer Service.
  • Being committed to continuous improvement, while maintaining positive attitude toward everyone’s ideas.


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Account Management. 


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales or Account Management
  • Fluency in French
